MATHEW STOTT

Mathew Stott is a Narrm/Melbourne-based photographic artist whose practice blends digital and physical techniques to create striking high-fashion imagery. His work explores the interplay of light, shadow and texture, producing compositions that are at once polished and raw.

Stott experiments with strobe, flash and natural lighting, while post-production techniques, including printing, scanning, digital retouching and image fusion, push the boundaries of conventional fashion photography. His distinctive approach interrogates ideas of perfection, beauty, and presentation.

In just three years Stott had established himself in the Melbourne photographic scene and in 2025 became Chief Creative Officer at Alt House, a creative agency and production company.
