MIKKA BYARUGABA

Mikka Byarugaba is a Ugandan born artist based in Eora/Sydney whose interdisciplinary practice merges research, mathematics and design to explore the interplay between algorithmic precision and organic form. His work bridges 3D design, jewellery, and creative coding, integrating digital and physical techniques to reveal beauty in both structure and experimentation.

Byarugaba’s experimental approach challenges traditional boundaries between craft and technology, creating pieces that invite reflection on form, pattern and materiality.

A self-taught artist, his work has appeared in VOGUE (US, UK, Australia), InStyle, Broadsheet and The Sydney Morning Herald, and has featured in exhibitions including Image of a Sound, Subparallel and Dancing Particles.
