HANNAH HALL

Hannah Hall is a Narrm/Melbourne-based artist whose textile practice explores abstraction through fabric-based works. She transforms found and second-hand materials into sculptural compositions that hold traces of personal and collective histories.

Hall's process integrates traditional textile techniques including smocking, pleating, tucking and fraying, combined with painterly sensibilities. She embraces imperfection and material wear as integral narrative elements, allowing fabrics to carry memory and time. Hall's work bridges craft and contemporary art, foregrounding the tactile and temporal qualities of material.

Hall holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) from RMIT University and has exhibited at 138 Gallery, Cardinia Cultural Centre, Australian Tapestry Workshop and Craft Victoria, alongside a 2024 residency in Bali.
